AI is rapidly becoming essential across every industry. However, AI literacy is missing from most classrooms. Parents are looking for practical learning options that their children to be ready for an AI-driven future. They need an educational pathway that is simple, accessible, and truly effective.
This is why we created MastechAcademy. It is a women-owned education company dedicated to bringing AI learning to kids.We’re here to help kids build the skills they’ll need in a world shaped by AI — the abilities to ask questions, solve problems, think critically, and innovate. Our lessons focuses on these skills via fun, and age-appropriate hands-on activities and projects, so every child can explore, understand, and create with confidence. We strive to make high-quality AI education available to children everywhere, regardless of background or location. We empower students to work alongside AI, express their ideas through technology, strengthen critical thinking, and build the foundational skills that open doors to limitless opportunities.

Hi, I’m Sophie.
I’ve always believed that understanding AI is the new literacy. My journey to founding MaxTech started in the classroom: I spent 8 years in education—6 years teaching students from elementary school to college, and 2 years as an admissions consultant for graduates and post-graduates.
Those years taught me how to translate complex ideas for any age and, more importantly, exactly what skills students need to succeed on their long-term academic paths.
After earning my Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University, I spent 7 years at a leading FAANG company, building the Machine Learning and AI solutions we use every day. Now, my goal is to take everything I’ve learned from the frontiers of tech and turn it into a spark for the next generation of creators. I can’t wait to see what every child builds.
Hi, I’m Ella.
I grew up in a small city in China and education became the bridge that brought me to America and allowed me to pursue a much bigger dream.
My career began as a bilingual educator, teaching and tutoring international students in varying levels of English while also offering Chinese language study to American students. I earned my Masters of Education degree in 2019 and have over 10 years of experience teaching. Alongside my love of education I have had an interested in technology and began my Masters of Computer Science degree in 2023 and now work at a startup focused on building and maintaining data pipelines.
By combining my background in education with my hands-on experience in technology and AI, I hope to help more children discover the joy of learning AI, not as a complicated or intimidating subject, but as a powerful, creative tool they can understand, enjoy, and confidently use to explore the world.
